Just a couple of things before I head to bed:

My skydiving video arrived and it is AMAZING. Dad hijacked the picture CD, and he's in Detroit for the Super Bowl, so I still have nothing new to post, but the video is just awesome. I'll let you know if I find a way to rip it into an uploadable form.

Also, this is good news. I don't have to hate Target anymore.

Also, Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) rocks, even if this quote was only scripted:

(Lorelai is stealthily attempting to put a leash on her dog)
Sookie: What are you doing?
Lorelai: Uh, he freaks out if he sees his leash. You have to make sure you hide it from him, make sure he doesn't see you putting it on him.
Sookie: How is he once he's on the leash?
Lorelai: Oh, he's totally fine having his personal freedom slowly stripped away, as long as he's completely unaware that it's happening. Just like a true American.

Look -- I'm about as pro-choice as you can be. I would love to see people remove the religious nonsense from the abortion debate and leave women in peace. I also think voluntary euthanasia should be available to the old and sick, and I'm a great believer in making contraception, sterilization, and virtually anything else to prevent conception readily available.

But arm-twisting is the initiation of force, and is therefore wrong, even if it's for a good cause. Strong-arming Target into doing what NARAL wants is no different than the Christian Coalition strong-arming some other business (or governmental entity) into doing what they want.

It's a shame that both the left and the right are so sure of their moral superiority that they'll resort to mafia-like tactics to get their way.
