Okay, this is the last entry before I leave for camp for the summer. I'm very pleased with this site and proud of myself that I got it up and running so quickly. I'll be officially home on 9 August and officially in the Netherlands on 14 August. Once I get established in my room (with my NEW LAPTOP!!!), probably around the 25th, then you can bet I'll be on here updating. So keep your eyes peeled... and have a great summer!

Now it's REALLY done!!!! Woohoo! Look at me, I'm FINIIIIISHED!!! Well, I still need a counter. But other than that... DONE!!! I'm so happy. I really needed to get this done before camp, and now it IS done! Yay!!! And I am in love with my splash page graphic. (D, you may have some competition, LOL... nee, geintje - nooit!) That came out exactly like I pictured it. I am sooo pleased with this whole project - and I haven't even spent that long on it, in comparison to what I used to do with my other sites. I think I started on this yesterday, maybe the day before. Anyway, I'm going to stop writing now because I'm just going in circles and not really saying anything. But I have to brag to somebody and nobody in this house knows the effort that goes into something like this, so - YAY JESS!!! ;)

I don't believe it... it works! I got it to work! And it even looks good, if I do say so myself, especially that awesome splash page. Now all I've got to do is add and edit some content, and eventually create an archives page, and I'm good to go! Just in time, too - I wanted it done before camp. This is one of my better sites, I think. No rollovers or other fancy-schmanciness, but still - eye-catching. As long as your resolution is no higher than 1024x768, like Dad's... then it looks ugly, LOL! But I can't let that get me down - it's 1.40 and I'm FINISHED!!!

Well, here I am at my new home on ComCast. Our whole house has been taken over by this company, it seems, ever since Dad got his new job. We now have 957 channels of free cable, free wireless internet, and phone service at $2/month. Not that I'm complaining - I finally have a site again. If the gosh-darn images would just load... guess I'll go try that again. Bye for now.
